Ama Adhé¹s experience of torture, death and destruction under the Chinese communist occupation is a mirror reflecting the Chinese policy of annihilating the Tibetan culture and the Tibetan identity inside Tibet. Her solid determination, unflinching perseverence, a quite sense of equinimity in face of distress and deep faith in religion examplifies the charecteristics of the Tibetan people and their strength in challenging a huge power like China.

She will talk about her past life, situation inside Tibet, how she escaped the Chinese control and her experience in exile. She will also show us what she saw in exile and give her reflections.
Through her, we discover the life of Tibetan people in exile: their sad past memories; their present struggle; their hopes and fears for the future. It will have appearances and commments from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and various Tibetan authorities.
