Mali, a country twice as large as France, is a land of hospitality and a model
of stability in Western Africa. But it’s also one of the poorest countries
of the world. The Malians meet with many difficulties such as the lowering of
the price of cotton (one of the main activities of the south), the lack of water
and of medical cares… The western governments try to find a solution but
the international help does not reach the small villages in the bush.
We’d like to take you to Yélékéla, a little village
in the bush located at 500 km at the south of Bamako. The documentary “Back
to Yélékéla” presents the life of the village through
warm reunion between friends of different cultures.
A very special african music show is also available in dvd.
Others documentaries will be available in few months
The help they can get relies on direct interventions like the one we are offering.
It is important to help the Malians live in their own culture in the bush villages
in order to avoid an uncontrolled immigration, which creates issues in the western
countries and hopeless situations for those who believe they are going to the
Eldorado.
Please come back on the website to follow the construction of a small clinic
in Yélékéla.
